Water sports activities
The ocean at your fingertips Saint Hilaire de Riez ! With its many kilometres of fine sandy beaches from Sion sur l'Océan towards Saint Jean-de-Monts or Saint Gilles-Croix-de-Vie.
You can enjoy a wide range of activities.
Near the campsite discover 3 watersports centres :
– Sion water sports centre which offers activities for everyone, including sailing, paddle boarding and canoeing.
– The Demoiselles water sports centre open all year round on a large sandy beach where you can go sand yachting, surfing and sailing.
– The Vallées water sports centre located on a 10-hectare stretch of water in the salt marshes. Ideal for beginners and the less experienced alike, it is sheltered from the vagaries of the weather.
The beaches
There's a choice of beaches where you can soak up the sun on the warm sand. They are all close to the campsite, accessible on foot, by bike or by car.

fishing and shore fishing
For freshwater fishing enthusiasts, you can go to the Vie river (between Saint Gilles Croix de Vie and the Vallées dam). No fishing licence is required.

For shore fishing, you can go from Bussoleries beach to Sion beach fishing for periwinkles, oysters, mussels and prawns on the rocks
